Thursday September 6th: 
WELCOME TO MILAN, THE ITALIAN CAPITAL OF FASHION AND SHOPPING

Afternoon

You will be met at Milan Malpensa (or Linate) International Airport and transferred by Mercedes S-Class to the hotel De La Ville 4* in Milan.

Considered to be one of the most elegant meeting places of Milan, now known as «il salotto buono», the hotel is patronised by fashion celebrities, show business personalities, and entrepreneurs. Very close to the Duomo, the Scala and Via Montenapoleone, it is a comfortable and tranquil place, perfect for a stay or for meetings.

Check-in and accommodation in room. • Time at disposal for shopping or for a guided tour of Milan (upon request).

Milan, the financial heart of the country, has got an energetic pace that matches its sky-scrapered counterparts in the rest of the world. Yet the Italian eye for beauty and style never dims. Milan, however, is not only fashion and business. Art is also of outstanding relevance: during the Renaissance, the dynastic Visconti and Sforza families commissioned art that endured long beyond their political intrigues. Among many familiar art masterpieces, Milan is home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. Indeed, architecture too is relevant in Milan: its captivating, 14th century gothic rose-marbled Il Duomo Cathedral is second in size only to Rome’s St. Peter’s, but exceeding it in grandeur. The adjacent, famed Galleria - probably the world’s most elegant shopping mall - leads into what is surely the world’s most illustrious Opera House, La Scala.

Friday September 7th: 
DISCOVERING COMO LAKE BY FERRARI 
Route: Milan Cernobbio Bellagio Lecco Milan

Morning

Pick-up in hotel and transfer to the starting location of the tour

09.00: Welcome coffee in the beautiful surroundings of the Villa with 5 Ferraris displayed in a private area reserved exclusively for the group.

Our English-speaking Tour Director, an expert Ferrari driver, will brief the group on how to drive the different Ferrari models. He will present the full Ferrari range; explain the difference between the various models (Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California, Ferrari F430 Spider/Coupé) and the engines (8-cylinder and 12-cylinder) and most importantly, give guidance on how to handle the F1 paddle-gear shifting behind the steering wheel.

Before departure, our Tour Director, connected by mobile radio system, will hold a second complete briefing with the guests once settled inside the Ferraris.

Departure by Ferrari for Como Lake

The group will drive the Ferraris for a full day on the beautiful roads of Como Lake.

Our Tour Director leads the convoy at the wheel of his car, guiding the Ferraris along the most exciting hilly and curving roads, carefully selected . A further three support cars (with mechanics) will follow the convoy to ensure safety and to assist the group drivers if necessary. Each team member is connected to the rest of the group and to staff by means of a powerful radio system.

Pleasant drive along the panoramic and enchanting roads of the Como Lake. Whilst driving, our guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding scenario offered by the Lake, characterized for a beautiful natural landscape that offers an overwhelming feast for the eyes.

11.30: Halt in Cernobbio, an elegant tourist village known worldwide for its villas, for a drink at glamorous Villa d’Este and to allow the switch between drivers and passengers, if they wish to.

Set on the shores of Como Lake, Villa d’Este is located in one of the most important crossroads between Italy and Northern Europe. As Herb Caen stated about the Villa, « the precise location of heaven on earth has never been established but it may very well be right here.».

13.30: Arrival in Bellagio, with its many suburbs scattered on the hills overlooking both the southeastern and southwestern branches of Como Lake.

Afternoon

15.00: Departure and driving back towards Lecco along the scenic roads of Como Lake

Discovery of the picturesque and breathtaking panorama offered by the Lake, enriched by pure driving pleasure on an amazing succession of wonderful sights!

During the tour will be scheduled a halt in Lecco around 16.00 on the route for a short visit and to allow the switch between driver and passenger and for a break.

Lecco, the famous scenario that inspired “The Betrothed” (I Promessi Sposi) composed by Italian novelist Alessandro Manzoni, lies at the end of the southeastern branch of Como Lake.

Departure for Milan. • 18.00: Arrival at the Villa (Milan) and the end of the day’s activities and return to the hotel.

Meeting in the hotel lobby and transfer for dinner

Dinner in Milan at Restaurant El Brellin Overlooking Milan’s main canal and the picturesque Washermen’s lane, this famous meeting point for gourmets is the ideal destination for gourmet dinners.

Return to the hotel after dinner.

Overnight at Hotel De La Ville 4*S (Milan). Guests can drive the Ferrari for up to 200 km during the day

 

 

 

Saturday September 8th: 
MONZA GP (TRIALS)

Morning

Pick-up in hotel and transfer to Monza to assist to the official trials • Return to Milan in the afternoon and time at guests’ disposal

Evening

Meeting in the hotel lobby and transfer for dinner Dinner in Milan at Restaurant Taverna dei Segreti

A gourmet restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere.

Return to the hotel after dinner. Overnight at Hotel De La Ville 4*S (Milan).

 

 

 

Sunday September 9th: 
GRAN PREMIO SANTANDER D’ITALIA 2012

Morning

Pick-up in hotel and transfer to Monza to assist to the GP

Return to Milan in the afternoon and time at guests’ disposal

Evening

Meeting in the hotel lobby and transfer for dinner

Dinner in Milan at Restaurant Taverna dei Segreti A place where excellent qualità products among the best possible to be found on the Itlian peninsula, accompanied by the finest wines, selected to match the food courses in a really inique way, diffcult to equal.

Return to the hotel after dinner. Overnight at Hotel De La Ville 4*S (Milan).

 

 

 

Monday September 10th: 
ARRIVEDERCI ITALIA!
